II place in the airbrushing contest at the festival "S-drive & Style" in St. Petersburg in 2007
The name of the work - "Witch" - corresponds to the translation of the name of the motorcycle - "Virago". This is one of the earliest of my works in aerography, which was still a hobby, but nevertheless one of the most beloved and mystical. I did this drawing then on my Yamaha XV535 motorcycle, but before I did that, it took me a whole year to master this technique, because at that time there were no courses, and most of the artists in Russia were self-taught, like and I.
I somehow gathered in St. Petersburg for materials for airbrushing and found out that these days there is a festival on sound, tuning and airbrushing "S-drive & Style". I was very interested to see the real airbrushing of professionals and decided to visit this exhibition. Considering the imported exhibits, he noted that my aerography looks no worse than the works of professionals and I registered my motto with the helmet as a participant of the festival. Presenting the work on the stage, all members of the jury noted the piercing look of the witch, who looked directly into the eyes of the watcher from any foreshortening.
In the process of life with this motorcycle I will say that he never let me down, if I did not violate some rules. For example, at that time I was already married, and any rental of a girl ended up with something like a worn ankle, a fall, or something else. In the evening, when on some sort of rally under the couples I wanted to go somewhere and ride myself or with someone else - her gaze grew angry, so it got colder inside and I left the motorcycle alone.
The idea came to the head:
Watching a young witch look
Pierces and knows no obstacles.
He will not let his messenger offend
Has filled in gasoline - and the good fellow!
